Retreat House

Welcome sign
Nestled in a country setting in the Ozarks, this newly remodeled house is located between Springfield and Branson, Missouri.  We can accommodate up to 13 people.  It is available year round for retreats for the following groups:
  • Quiltmakers
  • Rughookers
  • Scrapbookers
  • Crafters
  • A relaxing atmosphere without the interruptions of everyday life
  • The ability to work as early or late as you want, take naps, sit on a deck or go for a walk
  • A comfortable area to start a new project or finish an existing one
  • A time to be encouraged & energized
  • A peaceful place to reflect & create
  • Fun area attractions to visit
  • Great food & fellowship with like-minded friends
  • A goodie bag upon arrival
  • At least one of us will be on the property at all times in case of an emergency
We require a minimum of 5 people for a retreat.  If you don't have a full group in your area to meet our minimum requirement, considering asking a friend you haven't seen in a while to fly here to join your group.

If you are an individual without a group, don't worry.  We are planning to offer workshop retreats that you can join.  It would be a great way to focus on a specific craft or technique and meet new friends from different areas of the country.  Contact us to let us know what you might be interested in.  We will be posting specific retreats soon on this website & Facebook.
We are centrally located in the United States.  Groups from neighboring states generally drive to our retreat facility.  They have the advantage of having vehicles for shopping or visiting area attractions.

If your group is flying, you will need to rent a car when you arrive at our local airport.  The rates are reasonable when they are split between members of your group.  Book your car rental in advance to save time and money.

The Springfield-Branson National Airport is an hour from our property.  The airlines that service this airport are:
  • Allegiant Air
  • American Eagle
  • Delta Connection
  • United Express
As peaceful as it is here, you'd never know that this is one of the busiest and most attractive tourist destinations in the U.S.  Over 7 million tourists visit Branson every year.

Most of our visitors like to take a day to go sight-seeing.  We have a number of area attractions & good places to visit.  If you google Springfield & Branson, you will see all the fun things to do when you visit us.

Kathy has been teaching on a national level for nearly 20 years.  She offers her 3 hour or 6 hour workshops (with kits) at a reduced price for our retreat groups.  Please refer to her teaching page on this website for available workshops.  To provide this service, everyone in the group would need to take the workshop(s) the group chooses.

Cost/person = $35/3 hour, $55/6 hour plus the cost of the workshop kit
Guests have the option of bringing their own food & doing their own cooking or take advantage of our meal service.  The difference in pricing is listed in our rate section below.  Prior to signing the retreat contract, your group will need to decide which option they want and everyone in the group will be required to follow that option.
